A few days ago I made a deviantART. Twas a frightening thing. I don't know why, but it was. When I opened a fictionpress I could barely handle the 2-3 day waiting period that prevents you from posting after you create the account. It's to prevent spammers or whatever but it was hard anyway. Deviantart was like, do I even need this?

On fictionpress, 50% can't write, or are simply not old enough to wow anyone-- only because they haven't lived enough life yet. The other percent is sort of divided up between amazing, irritating, and inspirational. Irritating has a sizable chunk, though. A lot of grammatical errors. I signed up to be a beta reader, but I don't know how that works so I might not get to. I filled out both forms and everything. =\ I wanna edit some of this stuff! Git some hands-on experience for when I grow up and be a rockstareditorwriterpsychologistgraphicdesignercomputerprogrammerbusinesswoman. Ya know?!

So anyway, I feel that I can fit in to fictionpress fairly well. People don't know my age on there, but I'm pretty confident that I have some sort of note-worthy writing skill. And I'm pleased with that. YAY I've improved over the last 3 years! :)

On deviantart, it seems to be different.  I haven't found a bit of art that isn't at least mind-boggling.  Wait.  I take that back.  I found a really emo user that made me want to cry.  Like, photos with fake blood on her face, dripping down.  And she wasn't even going for vampire.  She was going for "missing you."  LOL.  that's funny now that I'm not throwing up.

on DA, the competition is a little more real.

I haven't received a single negative comment on FP.  There was one little one, but it wasn't even legit so .. that doesn't really count.  On DA I think I can expect more constructive criticism.  This both scares me, but excites me.  I'm confident that I can write better than a good wheel-barrow-full of people, so why not just improve with "hey, this poem was kinda wordy."  Okay!  Sounds good!

meh.  It's just a new experience for me.

But the main reason I am telling you any of this is just because I want you to make a stop at DA and/or FP for me.  <3  Page views are important!

precariousbox favorited both poems that I have up, because she's awesome.  You know how many people visit her DA?  A bazillion!  Like I say, talented DA people are crawling everywhere. . .
